Outstanding prisoners at Hoang Tien Prison meet their relatives

80 outstanding prisoners representing more than 4,000 prisoners at the prison met with grandparents, parents, spouses, siblings, and children.

Relatives of prisoners are allowed to visit places of detention, places of eating and sleeping, places of work, training, public activities, and places of health care for prisoners.

Prisoners and their families had an intimate meal together, sharing and encouraging each other to overcome difficulties.

According to many relatives of prisoners, this meeting helped them better understand the detention environment of their loved ones while serving their sentences; share the difficulties and hardships of the officers and soldiers of the prison; encourage their relatives to comply with regulations, actively reform to soon reunite with their families, and become useful citizens to society.

Hoang Tien Prison regularly organizes meetings between families and prisoners to strengthen coordination, enhance the responsibility of prisoners' families in managing, educating, and reforming prisoners while serving prison sentences and creating conditions for them to reintegrate into the community after they have completed their prison sentences.

In the past, Hoang Tien Prison organized for prisoners to meet their relatives every day. Every month, prisoners are allowed to meet their relatives once. In the first 9 months of 2023, the prison organized for 20,765 prisoners to meet their relatives.
