Mr. Nguyen Long Hai holds the position of Secretary of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee

On the afternoon of December 9, Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung chaired the Conference to announce and present the decision on the transfer and appointment of alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Party Secretary of the Central Enterprises Bloc Nguyen Long Hai to hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented Decision No. 1690 - QD/TW dated November 16, 2024 of the Politburo on mobilizing, assigning and appointing Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term; appointing him to participate in the Party Committee of Military Region 4 for the 2020-2025 term.

The Head of the Central Organizing Committee congratulated Mr. Nguyen Long Hai on his new assignment; at the same time, he emphasized that in all his positions, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai has always completed all assigned tasks well, making important contributions to the overall results of the locality, agency and unit.

The Politburo and the Secretariat trust and entrust the important responsibility of Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee and believe that with his rich experience in work, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai and the Quang Tri Party Committee will continue to excellently fulfill all assigned tasks.

In the coming time, all levels, sectors and localities in Quang Tri will continue to promote solidarity, unity, sharing and support Mr. Nguyen Long Hai to successfully carry out assigned tasks; lead and direct cadres and people in the province to excellently complete the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, striving to bring Quang Tri homeland to develop even stronger in the coming time.

At the conference, the new Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee said that in his new position, he will strive to train, uphold the spirit of exemplary conduct, and be determined to work with the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee to promote the spirit of solidarity, collective strength, and focus on implementing the direction of General Secretary To Lam during his visit and work in Quang Tri last October.

Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, born on May 3, 1976, joined the Party on March 6, 1998, hometown in Dong Luan commune, Thanh Thuy district, Phu Tho province; Doctor of Law; Senior in political theory.

He has held positions at the Central Youth Union, Quang Ninh Provincial Youth Union, Permanent Deputy Chairman and General Secretary of the National Committee on Vietnamese Youth, and Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers.

In January 2018, he was transferred by the Secretariat to work in Lang Son province, holding the position of Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

On December 7, 2020, he held the position of Deputy Secretary of Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, term IX, term 2016-2021.

From January 30, 2021 to July 2021, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai was an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Kan province; from August 2021 to present, he is an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.

Previously, Mr. Le Quang Tung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Tri province, was elected as Secretary General of the 15th National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office and Chief of the Office of the National Assembly Party Delegation.
