In Washington, on his social network Truth Social, the Republican presidential candidate affirmed: "There will be no third debate!" Former President Trump also emphasized that the polls clearly showed that he won the debate with Ms. Harris.

Immediately after former President Trump's Truth Social post, Democratic Vice President Harris spoke to voters in North Carolina, saying she wanted to face the 45th President of the United States again. She expressed her belief that American voters deserve to see another debate between her and her Republican opponent.

Mr. Trump participated in two live debates, the first with US President Joe Biden at the end of June and then with Vice President Harris on the evening of September 10. After the latest "fight", analysts said that Mr. Trump was somewhat overwhelmed when his Democratic opponent repeatedly put him in a passive, confused position and sometimes made inaccurate statements.

A CNN poll found that 63% of viewers thought Harris won the September 10th debate, compared to 37% who said former President Trump had the upper hand.
