Reply:According to current regulations, there are 8 majors that are tuition-free.
Specifically, in clauses 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16, Article 15 of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP dated August 27, 2021 of the Government, there are 8 majors that students are exempted from tuition fees, including: Ho Chi Minh Thought, Marxism - Leninism, tuberculosis, leprosy, psychiatry, forensic examination, forensic psychiatry and pathology at public health human resource training institutions according to the State's order quota. In addition to the above majors, students studying at the selection system, ethnic minorities with a small number of parents or grandparents in poor or near-poor households are also exempted from tuition fees.
In addition, Clause 2, Article 14 of Decree No. 81/2021/ND-CP also stipulates that subjects not required to pay tuition fees are those studying specialized majors that meet the requirements of socio-economic development, national defense and security according to the provisions of the Law on Higher Education. Specialized majors are prescribed by the Prime Minister.
