At the Ninh Thuan tourism promotion conference in Ho Chi Minh City on May 15, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Trung Luong, former Deputy Director of the Institute of Tourism Research (General Department of Tourism) affirmed: Ninh Thuan is a green and unique destination. Not only has natural advantages, Ninh Thuan also captivates tourists with its unique Cham cultural heritage.

“Only by coming to Ninh Thuan can tourists fully experience Cham culture,” said Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Trung Luong. Tourists were introduced to products made from their craft villages such as beautiful costumes, scarves and unique terracotta products by Cham artisans from My Nghiep brocade weaving village and Bau Truc pottery village.

Ninh Thuan is also different because of its regional connectivity as the center of the "tourism triangle" Khanh Hoa - Lam Dong - Binh Thuan - where each year has grown by 15% consecutively from 2010 - 2019. In particular, recently, the Government has agreed on the policy of supplementing the planning of Thanh Son military airport into a military airport combined with civil, capable of receiving the most modern aircraft to bring tourists to experience the desert.

With distinct advantages and extensive promotion, the number of tourists to Ninh Thuan in recent times has increased by an average of 10.8% per year, attracting 2.5 million visitors, of which 200,000 were international visitors, with revenue reaching 1,500 billion VND, an average increase of 19.7% per year.
