Journalist Nguyen Khanh Minh holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper.

At the conference, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee, Luu Vinh Hung, announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on appointing journalist Nguyen Khanh Minh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper from July 29, 2024, for a term of 5 years.

Speaking at the assignment, Standing Deputy Secretary of Phu Yen Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An congratulated the staff, reporters, editors and employees of Phu Yen Newspaper on having a new Editor-in-Chief and a new leader to lead the editorial office to many new successes. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Cao Thi Hoa An hopes that the staff, reporters and employees of the editorial office will continue to accompany and support Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper Nguyen Khanh Minh to successfully complete the assigned tasks. Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper Nguyen Khanh Minh will continue to promote his capacity and strengths, well manage the work of the editorial office, and unite internally to create strength for Phu Yen Newspaper on the new journey.

Recalling the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh: “Press cadres are also revolutionary soldiers”, “The press must ensure ideology, authenticity, humanity, fighting spirit and diversity”; at the same time emphasizing that Phu Yen Newspaper is the organ of the Provincial Party Committee, the voice of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Yen, comrade Cao Thi Hoa An requested that the collective of Phu Yen Newspaper continue to show love and responsibility towards the Party Committee and people of Phu Yen, “living, fighting, working and studying following the example of great Uncle Ho”.

Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An also quoted General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's advice: "If you are human, be a communist", asking the Phu Yen Newspaper staff to continue to promote the sense of responsibility of communists, write the pages of a communist newspaper; reflect truthfully, comprehensively, speak up for the Party, and guide public opinion against unverified information.

In his acceptance speech, Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper Nguyen Khanh Minh respectfully thanked the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, and leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Building Committees for entrusting him with the new task; thanked the Phu Yen Newspaper collective for their trust and recommendation; and promised to strive to learn, work and devote himself to building a united and developed collective, together with the staff, civil servants and employees of Phu Yen Newspaper, to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

The requirements of digital transformation of journalism are posing many difficulties, challenges and opportunities. Editor-in-Chief of Phu Yen Newspaper Nguyen Khanh Minh called on the collective of cadres, civil servants and employees of Phu Yen Newspaper to promote a sense of responsibility, train a strong political stance, creative thinking, make more efforts and unite to continue building a professional, dynamic, strong and developing collective.

In his new position, journalist Nguyen Khanh Minh hopes to continue receiving the attention, direction, support, assistance and facilitation of provincial leaders, units and localities so that the Phu Yen Newspaper can successfully complete its assigned political tasks.
