Comrade Le Hai Binh holds the position of Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.

On the afternoon of March 25, Communist Magazine held a ceremony to announce the Politburo's Decision on assigning Mr. Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, to hold the position of Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.

Comrade Truong Thi Mai, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Commission, presented the Politburo's Decision to comrade Le Hai Binh.

Attending the conference were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia; leaders of the Central Organization Committee, Central Propaganda Department, Central Party Office, Central Inspection Committee and all cadres, civil servants and employees of the Communist Magazine Editorial Department.

According to Decision No. 1165-QDNS/TW of the Politburo, comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, ceased to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; transferred and appointed to the position of Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine.

Handing over the decision to the new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, Le Hai Binh, Standing member of the Secretariat, Truong Thi Mai, stated: Comrade Le Hai Binh is a young, well-trained cadre, an associate professor of political science, a doctor of international relations, and a senior political theorist.

Comrade Le Hai Binh has held many positions: Deputy Director, Deputy Director of the Institute for Strategic Diplomacy Studies; Director of the Press and Information Department, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy; Director of the Department of Foreign Information and International Cooperation, Central Propaganda Department; Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for Foreign Information.

Since August 2021, comrade Le Hai Binh has been Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department. At the 13th National Congress of the Party, he was elected as an alternate member of the Party Central Committee.

Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department congratulated Comrade Le Hai Binh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine.

During his work, comrade Le Hai Binh always complied with the Party's assignments; in any position, he always made efforts, strived to practice, and made positive and effective contributions to the agency and unit.

Congratulating the new Editor-in-Chief Le Hai Binh, the Standing Member of the Secretariat expressed his belief that he will promote his capacity, experience, and courage, quickly grasp the work, and together with the Party Committee, Editorial Board, cadres, and Party members of the Communist Magazine, promote the achieved results, overcome shortcomings and limitations, build internal solidarity, and strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

In his acceptance speech, the new Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Magazine, Le Hai Binh, respectfully thanked the Politburo for trusting him with the precious opportunity to work and contribute at the Communist Magazine - an agency with a long revolutionary tradition, a leading ideological and theoretical flag, always closely associated with the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

"Looking at the nearly 95-year history of establishment and development of the Communist Magazine as well as the generations of cadres, party members and leaders of the Magazine through the periods, I deeply feel the great honor and pride but also the heavy responsibility to fulfill the mission assigned by the Party and State," comrade Le Hai Binh emphasized.

Currently, the world and national situation pose both great opportunities and challenges for ideological and theoretical work, especially the path to socialism in Vietnam. In addition, the Communist Review is standing on the path, marking the glorious 95th anniversary of its first issue next year.

With the tasks assigned by the Party and the State, the new Editor-in-Chief Le Hai Binh wishes to learn and inherit the achievements and valuable experiences of the previous generation; vows to devote all his abilities, intelligence and enthusiasm, join hands and unite with the Editorial Board of the magazine, raise the sense of responsibility, continue to improve capacity, unify awareness and action, have high determination with a spirit of innovation, resolutely overcome limitations and weaknesses, uphold good traditions, join hands to build and improve the activities of the political theory agency of the Party Central Committee.
