The governor of Krasnodar region has declared a "local state of emergency" after a Ukrainian drone attack that Kiev said hit an arms depot.

Kiev says it hit an arms depot

According to AFP, on September 21, Russia declared a local state of emergency in the city of Tikhoretsk in the southern Krasnodar province after ordering an evacuation following a Ukrainian drone attack that Kiev said hit an arms depot.

On social media, Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev announced that "a state of emergency has been declared in the region to organize assistance to the population and promptly resolve all issues related to the incident."

Earlier on September 21, the Ukrainian army announced that they had attacked two military depots inside Russian territory, in the Western Tver and Southern Krasnodar regions.

"Ukrainian defense forces attacked two military weapons depots of the Russian armed forces," the Ukrainian military statement said.

Specifically, Kiev forces attacked a facility near the city of Tikhoretsk in southern Krasnodar and a facility near the village of Oktyabrsky in the city of Tver. The statement also emphasized: "The tasks have been completed."
