At bedding stores, the best-selling products are currently thin blankets, autumn blankets, while thick wool blankets, sheep wool, and super light cotton blankets are not very popular with customers. The owner of a bedding store in Tan An commune (Thanh Ha) said that at this time, the store only has a few customers asking to buy because normally, according to consumer habits, they have to go through many cold spells or prolonged cold before they start buying blankets, sheets, pillows, and mattresses.

In the same period last year, the quantity of heaters, two-way air conditioners, bath heaters, and electric kettles sold very well at supermarkets and electronics stores. Warming devices were introduced, advertised, and placed in visible locations to attract customers, but this year is completely different. According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Minh, manager of Media Mart supermarket on Tran Hung Dao street (Hai Duong city), this year, the number of customers buying heaters, bathroom heaters, and two-way air conditioners at the supermarket has decreased significantly, mainly families with the elderly and children choosing these products.
