My Khe in top 10 most beautiful beaches in Asia

On February 28, Tripadvisor, the leading travel application website, announced a list of the 10 most beautiful beaches in Asia in 2023, in which My Khe ranked 8th, with an average score of 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This is part of the Travelers' Choice Best of the Best awards, which honor destinations, hotels, and restaurants. The results are based on votes from readers and experts around the world over 12 months. Awards in each category are announced throughout the year.

The names honored in the top 10 must meet many criteria set by the organizers such as: appearing on Tripadvisor for at least one year, having the highest number of votes. In addition, the honored places will be stripped of their titles if they are found to have submitted fraudulent reviews or threatened users to make inaccurate comments.

According to the Da Nang electronic information portal, My Khe is about 900 m long, "the busiest and most familiar to both locals and tourists", more than 3 km east of the city center, across the Han River bridge.

"My Khe has fine sand, a gentle slope, clear and warm water all year round, gentle waves, suitable for swimming. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in Southeast Asia that I have ever visited", is a tourist's comment posted when referring to the beach in Da Nang.

The remaining 9 beaches include: Radhanagar and Benaulim (India), Kata Noi, Nai Harn and Chaweng (Thailand), Haeundae (South Korea), Kelingking (Indonesia), Yonaha Maehama (Japan) and Mirissa (Sri Lanka).
