According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on July 27, the Northern, North and Central Central regions will have hot weather, some places will have severe hot weather with temperatures at 1pm commonly ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, some places above 37 degrees Celsius such as: Lao Cai City 37.6 degrees Celsius, Bac Quang (Ha Giang) 37.3 degrees Celsius, Ha Dong (Hanoi) 37.6 degrees Celsius, Hoi Xuan (Thanh Hoa) 37.2 degrees Celsius, Do Luong (Nghe An) 37.8 degrees Celsius ...; relative humidity at 1pm commonly ranges from 55-65%.

It is forecasted that on July 28, the North will experience localized heat with the highest temperature in some places exceeding 35 degrees Celsius; the North and Central Central regions will experience heat, with some places experiencing severe heat with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35 - 37 degrees Celsius, in some places exceeding 37 degrees Celsius; the lowest relative humidity will commonly range from 55 - 60%. From July 29, the heat will gradually ease in the Central region.

Due to the effects of heat and intense heat combined with low humidity in the air, there is a risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and the risk of forest fires. In addition, heat can also cause dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke in the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.

Experts also warned that from the evening and night of July 28 to July 29, in the Northern region, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain with total rainfall: Northern mountainous and midland areas: 40 - 100mm, some places over 200mm; Northern Delta area: 30 - 70mm, some places over 100mm.

From the night of July 29 to July 31, the Northern region will continue to have moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, with some places experiencing very heavy rain. Heavy rain in the Northern region from the night of July 31 is likely to gradually decrease.

Warning, be on guard against the risk of flash floods, landslides in mountainous areas and flooding in low-lying areas. Be on guard against heavy rain in a short period of time causing flooding in urban areas. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
