Password Tips to Protect Online Accounts from AI

Hackers can use artificial intelligence (AI) to sniff out online account passwords, so users must pay special attention to security right from the password setting stage.

In a digital society, we create more and more online accounts, such as banks, social networks, emails... and these accounts all contain a lot of important personal information.

However, today, with the emergence of AI such as ChatGPT or Bing AI..., hackers can take advantage of it to find out the passwords of those online accounts.

Therefore, experts at Home Security Heroes (USA) Cyber Security Company advise users to set passwords for online accounts as follows:

- Use a password of at least 12 characters, combining lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers and special characters on the keyboard (such as !, @, #, *...).

"The more characters a password has, the longer it will take for hackers' automatic password-guessing tools to guess it and the lower the probability of finding the password," the expert at Home Security Heroes emphasized.

- For each online account, users should use a different login password.

"This makes it so that even if hackers steal the password of an account, they will not be able to detect and gain access to other user accounts," experts explained.

- Users should use random password generators, instead of using easy-to-remember passwords that they set themselves.

Next, use password management tools to store these passwords.

"This way, you won't need to remember the specific login password for each online account, but only need to remember the password protection of the password management software/application," the security expert explained.

Nowadays, many password management software and applications provided by reputable software and security companies help you do this.

- Finally, experts advise users to change their passwords regularly (at least every 3 months).
