In the coming time, Kinh Mon town will continue to direct specialized agencies to closely follow regulations on urban criteria to proactively advise on the implementation of projects and plans.
According to the Urban Management Department of Kinh Mon town, the town has achieved 38 targets of 5 criteria for a type III urban area as stipulated in Resolution 1210/2016/UBTVQH13 dated May 25, 2016 of the National Assembly Standing Committee.
There are still 13 targets that have not been achieved, such as: annual population growth rate; total urban population density; inner-city population density on urban construction land area; public green space area in inner-city areas; urban architecture management regulations; funeral homes; ratio of civilized urban streets calculated on the total number of civilized streets...
In the coming time, Kinh Mon town will continue to direct specialized agencies to closely follow the regulations on urban criteria to proactively advise on the implementation of projects and plans. Strengthen propaganda, create consensus and launch a movement to renovate and build Kinh Mon to meet the criteria of a type III urban area before 2025.
