Minh Tan Ward won the Kinh Mon town chess tournament

Kinh Mon town (Hai Duong) has just organized the Spring Traditional Chess and Wrestling Tournament.

The organizing committee awarded the chess prize to the teams.

On February 22, at Kinh Chu cave relic, Pham Thai ward, Kinh Mon town People's Committee (Hai Duong) organized a Chinese chess and traditional wrestling tournament.

These are two contents in the program of the 10th Kinh Mon Town Sports Festival.

The players are highly concentrated at the chess tournament.

As a result, in the chess event, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Minh Tan ward team, the second prize to Duy Tan ward, and the third prize to An Sinh ward. Chess player Duong Thanh Tung (Duy Tan ward) excellently won the first individual prize.

A wrestler was awarded the prize by the Organizing Committee.

In the national wrestling content, the Organizing Committee awarded 10 prizes and first, second and third prizes to the following athletes: Truong Van Cong (Pham Thai ward); Nguyen Tuan Anh (Long Xuyen ward); Nguyen Quoc Thai (Lac Long commune).

A dramatic match at this year's national wrestling tournament

This year's national chess and wrestling tournament has 14 participating units with 25 wrestlers and 80 players. Due to the lack of athletes participating in the wrestling tournament in each weight category, the Organizing Committee only organizes the qualifying and talent tournaments.

Deputy Director in charge of the Center for Culture, Sports and Communication Mac Dang Khoi presented souvenir flags to the teams participating in the tournament.

The Chinese chess and traditional wrestling tournaments are held to celebrate major holidays in 2025, welcome the Kinh Mon town Sports Festival, and move towards the 10th Hai Duong province Sports Festival in 2025 - 2026.
