Kim Thanh presents 'Comradeship House' to veteran with serious illness

On the afternoon of December 9, the Kim Thanh District Veterans Association coordinated with Kim Anh Commune to inaugurate and hand over the "Comradely Love" house to the family of veteran Phan Van Thang, Le Do village.

Veteran Phan Van Thang is currently suffering from a serious illness. He and his son are receiving social security benefits, but their family is facing many difficulties and is unable to build a house on their own. The Veterans Association of Kim Thanh District has supported Mr. Thang's family in building a house.

The house has a usable area of ​​60m2.²solid foundation, total construction cost nearly 400 million VND. Kim Thanh District Veterans Association supported 50 million VND. Kim Anh Commune Veterans Association supported nearly 5 million VND, the remaining amount was supported by sectors, commune unions and clans, members of Le Do Village Veterans Association supported labor days.

Since the beginning of the year, the Veterans Association of Kim Thanh district has awarded 4 "Houses of Comradeship" to families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, and veterans in Vu Dung, Ngu Phuc, Hoa Binh, and Kim Anh communes.

This is a practical activity of the Kim Thanh District Veterans Association towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), 35 years of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
