Prosecuted a group of teenagers in Thanh Ha for raping a woman

The defendants prosecuted include: Dao The D. (born in 2007), Nguyen Viet Anh (born in 2004), Nguyen Quang Huy (born in 2005, all in Vinh Lap commune); Ngo Duc D. (born in 2006), Le Xuan D. (born in 2007, both in Thanh Hong commune); Pham Van H. and Nguyen Van D. (both born in 2007, in Thanh Cuong commune; Nguyen Xuan Th. (born in 2006, in An Lao district, Hai Phong).

Dao The D. knew Ms. Q. (born in 2007, in Nghi Son district, Thanh Hoa) before, so on December 4, The D. invited Ms. Q. to Thanh Ha district to celebrate his birthday. Ms. Q. agreed. When he arrived at Thanh Cuong commune, The D. called his friends (the above group) to go to a bar to drink alcohol. The group started drinking alcohol from 10:00 p.m. on December 4. At the same time, Nguyen Xuan Th. had the intention of having sex with Ms. Q., so he asked some people to get Ms. Q. drunk, and Viet Anh and The D. agreed.

At around 2:00 a.m. on December 5, when Ms. Q. was so drunk that she lost consciousness, Th. and The D. took Ms. Q. to rent a room in Thanh Quang commune. Afterwards, The D. and Th. had sex with Ms. Q. When Viet Anh was about to have sex, Ms. Q. woke up and they argued and cursed at each other. The remaining subjects stood outside waiting.

After receiving the complaint from Ms. Q., Thanh Ha District Police urgently investigated, issued an emergency arrest warrant for the group of subjects, consolidated the case file, prosecuted the defendants, and detained 7 subjects. Nguyen Van D. was released on bail.
