Discover the "monster" motorcycle Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R and upgraded GT

Triumph Rocket 3 Storm R and GT 2024 are both upgraded in power and driving feel, of which Rocket 3 is also upgraded to the latest Euro 5b emission standards.

With a displacement of 2,458cc, the Rocket 3's inline three-cylinder engine has an increased power output of 15 horsepower, producing a maximum power of 182 horsepower at 7,000 rpm. Similarly, the torque figure has increased to 225 Nm at 4,000 rpm, an increase of 4 Nm compared to before.

Handling is also improved with sportier 10-spoke cast aluminium alloy wheels, 17 inches at the front and 16 inches at the rear, which help reduce weight. Specifically, the Rocket 3 Storm R weighs 317 kg while the GT weighs 320 kg, both with an 18-litre fuel tank. This improves steering response and enhances the Rocket 3's agility.

Along with the new “Storm” name, the Rocket 3 now features black trim and accessories, giving it a similar look to the limited edition Rocket 3 Triple Black launched in 2021. The bike gets a black anodized finish on the forged rear frame, swingarm protector, lower fork and yoke, riser bar, and handlebar clamps.

Black is also used for the seat, footrests, hangers, brake and gear pedals, levers, side stand. The Rocket 3 Storm R and GT are distinguished by their ease of use.

Rocket 3 Storm R The biggest difference between the R and GT is the footpeg position. The R has a mid-foot control, with two settings that can be adjusted vertically by 15mm, providing a natural and sporty riding position.

The GT features forward-facing cruiser-style footpegs, with three horizontal position settings that allow 50mm of adjustment, to provide the most comfortable position for long rides. Both the R and GT models feature improved, foldable rear footpegs.

There are no changes to the Rocket 3's electronics suite, with cornering ABS and traction control, as well as cruise control and keyless start.

Additionally, the bike comes standard with hill-hold control for starting on steep inclines and has four riding modes – Road, Rain, Sport and Rider – with a quickshifter available as an option.

Standard equipment also includes Brembo Stylema front brakes and adjustable Showa suspension.
