The auction organizer has just continued to put nearly 50,000 motorbike license plates on the auction floor. In this auction, license plate 50AA-999.99 won the highest bid of 2.68 billion VND.
This afternoon, April 9, a representative of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) said that the Vietnam Joint Stock Auction Company continued to put nearly 50,000 motorcycle and motorbike license plates "on the floor". These license plates are in the list of 1.55 million motorcycle and motorbike license plates put up for auction at the 6th session.
Notably, Ho Chi Minh City license plate 50AA-999.99 won the highest bid at 2.68 billion VND. Right from the time it was "listed", this license plate was bid for nearly 700 million VND. The auction was dramatic in the final minutes when bids continuously increased, with some bids reaching nearly 100 million VND.
Also in the auction this afternoon, Hanoi license plate 29AC-688.88 was bid for over 180 million VND after more than 15 minutes of being "on the market". This license plate was continuously bid for more and more and won the auction with 253.5 million VND.
Previously, on the afternoon of April 8, the motorcycle license plate 29AC-555.55 won the highest auction price of 317.5 million VND.
According to the representative of the Traffic Police Department, on the auction day of April 8, 60,000 car, motorbike and scooter license plates were put up for auction. The total value of the auctioned assets was over 57 billion VND. Of which, 430 car license plates were successfully auctioned for over 40 billion VND; 474 motorbike and scooter license plates were successfully auctioned for nearly 17 billion VND.
