All 22 lots in today's auction in Thanh Oai were unsuccessful.

The 22 plots of land in today's auction are numbered from 118 to 139 in Do Dong commune, with a total area of 2,209.06 m2.

However, according to a source, by the 8th round, customers had all given up, so all the auctioned lots were unsuccessful. At this time, the highest price was about 70 million VND/m2.

It is known that the plots of land put up for auction have the smallest area of over 85 m2 and the largest of over 135 m2. The starting price is from 5.3 million VND/m2, corresponding to a deposit of 90.89 - 143.84 million VND/plot.

The auction is conducted in a direct secret ballot with multiple rounds; at least 6 rounds are required; the minimum bid is 5 million VND/m2. Thus, participants must pay a minimum of 35.3 million VND/m2 to be able to own the land.

According to records, this morning's auction had about 100 participants, and there were not many groups of land brokers like in previous sessions.

Previously, Mr. LAD - an investor participating in the auction this morning - predicted that the winning bid would not be high because the prices have cooled down in recent sessions. "If the price exceeds 70 million VND/m2, I will stop bidding," said Mr. D.

Many other investors also said that the auction prices in today's session will hardly have any sudden changes because the current auction land market is not as vibrant as in August.

Yesterday, November 29, public opinion was stirred up when at the land auction in Soc Son district (Hanoi), an investor offered up to 30 billion VND/m2, an unprecedented high price. However, in the final round, this person asked not to bid any more.

In the end, only 22/58 plots were successfully bid, with prices ranging from 32 to 50 million VND/m2. All those who had previously offered high prices have now stopped bidding.

With the above developments, this auction is believed to have signs of being "sabotaged" by a group of customers. However, the auction will continue, and these lots will be re-auctioned by the authorities in the near future.
