Gia Loc District People's Committee (Hai Duong) has developed a plan to handle unused commune-level headquarters after the reorganization of the two-level local government apparatus.
Gia Loc district currently has 13 communes and 1 town, which are arranged into 4 communes. After arranging offices for the new communes, there are 8 remaining offices.
Regarding the working headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Gia Loc town, the District People's Committee plans to transfer a part of it to be used as a community activity area for residential area No. 7 and a part to be used as the headquarters of the Commune Health Station. The working headquarters of Gia Tien commune will be used as a community activity area.
The office building of Gia Phuc commune was transferred to expand Gia Khanh Secondary School. Part of the office building of Le Loi commune was used to expand Le Loi Kindergarten, and part of it was used to expand Le Loi Secondary School. The office building of Thong Kenh commune was transferred to Thong Kenh Primary School for use.
The office of Hoang Dieu commune was transferred to Hoang Dieu Kindergarten. The office of Doan Thuong commune was transferred to Doan Thuong Primary School. The office of Pham Tran commune was transferred to Pham Tran Kindergarten.
For the 4 newly arranged communes, the location of the headquarters has been included by the district in the project submitted to the People's Councils at the district and commune levels for approval.
