At many Hyundai dealers, B-class Accent sedans are being discounted by tens of millions of dong to make room for the 2024 version about to be launched.
On the afternoon of May 30, Thanh Cong Joint Venture will officially launch the updated version of the best-selling sedan Hyundai Accent 2024 in the Vietnamese market. The car has a completely new design, more spacious interior space, added many convenient equipment and high-end features, as well as upgraded powertrain with engine block and gearbox changed compared to the previous generation.
At dealerships, the reporter's observations show that old Hyundai Accent models are being discounted by tens of millions of dong, depending on the version.
Specifically, the Hyundai Accent 2023 special edition with a listed price of 542 million VND is being discounted by nearly 80 million VND, causing the actual price of the car to drop extremely low - only 465 million VND. These are all VIN 2024 products, but the number of cars and color options is not much left.
Meanwhile, the standard version of the Hyundai Accent 2023 with a listed price of 502 million VND is also being reduced by 60 million VND, down to about 440 million VND. However, the number of cars available in stock is only a few, the rest are all VIN 2024.
Sales staff also said that the new Hyundai Accent 2024 will arrive at dealers on June 1 and can be delivered in June.
Thus, according to experts, if the old and new versions are not too heavy, this is a very suitable opportunity for customers to buy this B-class sedan, because the actual selling price of Accent is approaching the same level as other A-class cars, such as Hyundai Grand i10, Kia Morning, or Toyota Wigo.
At the same time, the selling price of Hyundai Accent is also very attractive compared to competitors in the same segment such as Toyota Vios (listed from 458 million VND) or Honda City (priced from 559 million VND).
In the first quarter of 2024, the Korean sedan still leads the segment with 2,248 vehicles delivered to customers. In the most recent April, Accent let Vios surpass sales with a gap of nearly 100 vehicles, but still impressively twice as much as its rival City.
