The 2024 Honda Gold Wing Tour motorcycle model with smoke gray color will be sold for more than 1.16 billion VND in the Malaysian market.
The 2024 Honda Gold Wing Tour will be distributed in Malaysia at a price of RM 212,888 (VND 1.16 billion), about VND 10 million higher than the RM 210,888 (VND 1.15 billion) of the 2023 version. Both prices above do not include tax, insurance and registration fees. The model is expected to be available at all authorized Honda BigWing dealers in Malaysia starting from August 2024.
Honda's touring motorcycle carries the Gold Wing's signature 1,833cc flat-six engine, producing 124.7 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via Honda's 7-speed DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission) with final drive.
The 2024 Honda Gold Wing Tour features four riding modes to suit a variety of terrain conditions including Tour, Sport, Econ and Rain. With the Honda Selectable Torque Control system, the gear shifting speed and the rpm range when shifting up/down have been specifically designed for each riding mode.
In the Malaysian market, the Gold Wing Tour will be sold in a Heavy Gray Metallic color option with a 61-liter luggage compartment. When owning this top-of-the-line Honda touring motorcycle, customers will also receive many modern convenience features such as an electrically adjustable windshield and cruise control. In addition, the 7-inch TFT screen will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity with the rider's smartphone.
There are also auto-off indicators and LED lighting used throughout the bike. There are up to four electrically adjustable suspension systems on the bike for varying loads depending on the number of passengers and luggage. Braking is done by twin 320mm discs at the front with radial mounted four-piston calipers while the rear gets a single 310mm disc. The wheel size on the Gold Wing Tour is 18 inches at the front with a 130/70 tyre while the 16-inch rear uses 200/55 rubber.
The Gold Wing Tour's seat height is set at 745 mm while the weight stands at 383.2 kg and the fuel tank holds 20.8 litres.
