Two students who won first prizes in literature and math at the 12th grade excellent student selection exam for continuing education in Hai Duong province in the 2024-2025 school year dream of becoming journalists and doctors.
That is Vu Thuy Linh, a 12th grade student at the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education in Chi Linh City, who scored 7 points in literature and won first prize. Linh is good at all subjects, especially literature. From grade 10 to grade 11, she was always a good or excellent student.
Linh said that literature is a "field" of creativity where she can express her own opinions.
To study well and get high scores in literature, according to Linh, it is necessary to create a difference, express one's own perspective in each text and literary work; relate to reality and be critical. Linh dreams of becoming a journalist in the future.
Duong Thu Trang, a 12th grade student at Gia Loc District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, scored 8.5 points in math and won first prize. From grade 1 to grade 11, she was a good and excellent student.
Trang started focusing on studying math since grade 10. Trang's secret to studying math well is to be diligent and open-minded; to firmly absorb the knowledge taught by teachers in class; to practice many advanced questions; to understand the nature of the problem and relate it to real life. Trang dreams of becoming a doctor in the future.
Previously, the provincial exam for excellent 12th grade students in continuing education for the 2024-2025 school year had nearly 130 candidates taking the exam. Candidates took the exam in two subjects: math and literature. The Department of Education and Training recognized 70 students who won prizes. Of which, there were 2 first prizes, 9 second prizes, and 38 consolation prizes.
