Kim Thanh High School leads in first prize winning number at the 12th grade high school excellent student competition

The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training has recognized 858 students who won prizes in the provincial-level 12th grade excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year, an increase of 34 prizes compared to the previous school year.

Specifically, there are 21 first prizes, an increase of 9 prizes; 181 second prizes, an increase of 69 prizes; 304 third prizes, a decrease of 27 prizes; 352 consolation prizes, a decrease of 17 prizes.

Of the 21 first prizes, Kim Thanh High School had 5 prizes, the most in the province. Next was Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted with 4 first prizes, including 2 subjects in which only students from the school competed. Hong Quang High School (Hai Duong City), Gia Loc High School, Thanh Mien High School and Thanh Ha High School, each had 2 first prizes...

The Department of Education and Training also recognized 70 students who won prizes in the competition to select excellent students in grade 12 of continuing education, an increase of 4 students. Of these, there were 2 first prizes, a decrease of 2 prizes; 9 second prizes, an increase of 3 prizes; 38 consolation prizes, an increase of 2 prizes.

Based on the number of awards, the Hai Duong Department of Education and Training is ranking the teams of schools for the provincial exam to select excellent students for grade 12 high school and grade 12 continuing education in the 2024-2025 school year.

Previously, 1,420 students participated in the provincial-level exam for excellent 12th graders in Hai Duong City. There were 11 subjects: English, IT, French, Russian, math, history, chemistry, biology, literature, physics, and geography. French and Russian were only for students at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted.

129 students participated in the exam to select excellent students of grade 12 in the regular education system. Students took the exam in 2 subjects: math and literature.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Thanh Mien High School ranked first in the provincial-level exam results for excellent 12th grade high school students. Chi Linh City Center for Vocational Education and Continuing Education ranked first in the provincial-level exam results for excellent 12th grade students.
