Two Hai Duong children received Kim Dong Awards

On May 11 and 12, in Hanoi, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers organized a program to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers Team (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2024) and awarded the Kim Dong Prize for the 2023 - 2024 school year.

Students: Duong Quoc Dai, class 6A, Chu Van An Secondary School (Thanh Ha) and Nguyen Ngoc Linh Huong, class 5E, Cong Hoa Primary School (Chi Linh City) were honored to receive this award.

Both of them are outstanding team members of Hai Duong province, achieving many high achievements in studying and being exemplary in training. In 2023, Quoc Dai was the "Brave Hero of a Thousand Good Deeds" at the Central level, Linh Huong won third prize at the national contest "Vietnamese Children Reaching Out to the World". In addition, they actively participated in movements and competitions organized by the Youth Union and the Young Pioneers at all levels and were awarded many certificates of merit.

The Kim Dong Award is a noble award of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, given annually to young Pioneers and Team leaders with outstanding achievements in the work of the Pioneers and the children's movement. This year, 125 outstanding Pioneers and Team leaders nationwide received this award.

Within the framework of the program to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers, children also participated in many meaningful activities such as: visiting the Thang Long Imperial Citadel and Kim Dong Publishing House, participating in the theme "Every week a beautiful story, a good book, a shining example"; meeting famous writers and writers about children; experiencing the night tour of the Temple of Literature "The Quintessence of Philosophy"...
