Hai Duong has 2 children attending the 5th National "Little Dien Bien Soldiers" Festival in Dien Bien province out of a total of 200 children attending.
They are Pham Kim Hien, class 5D, Nguyen Luong Bang Primary School and Nguyen Vu Thu Giang, class 7B, Binh Minh Secondary School (Hai Duong City). These are outstanding students, achieving excellent results in studying, training and working in the Team, and are exemplary Team leaders.
The 5th National "Little Dien Bien Soldiers" Festival in 2024, organized by the Central Youth Union and the Central Council of Young Pioneers, is expected to take place over 3 days (from April 24 to 26), towards the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
Within the framework of the festival, many historical education activities for children took place, such as: groundbreaking, inauguration and awarding of works for Dien Bien children; Journey to the source at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield, A1 National Martyrs Cemetery; visiting the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum, Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command Relic; meeting historical witnesses, listening to traditional stories; participating in the experience activity "Little Dien Bien soldiers marching in the footsteps of heroes" at historical relics...
