Hai Duong won 3 gold medals at the National Rowing Championship

After 5 days of exciting competition, the 2024 National Rowing Championship closed at the Hai Phong Rowing Training and Competition Area on November 10. There were 172 athletes from 19 provinces and cities competing in 22 events for both men and women.

With 3 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 4 bronze medals, the Hai Duong rowing team ranked 5th out of 19 teams.

Hai Duong team has 2 coaches and 10 athletes, competing in 9 events, with the target of 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

The 3 gold medals of the Hai Duong team were won in the men's heavy 4-scull category by rowers Nguyen Huu Thanh, Trieu Hoang Long, Bui Van Hoan, Nhu Dinh Nam; the men's light 4-scull category by Trieu Hoang Long, Tran Huy Tiep, Bui Van Hoan, Nhu Dinh Nam; the men's light 2-scull category by the pair of athletes Nguyen Huu Thanh, Trieu Hoang Long. The only silver medal of the team was won by rower Nguyen Huu Thanh in the men's light single scull category.

Previously, at the 2024 National Canoeing Championship that ended on November 3, Hai Duong rowers won 4 gold medals, 3 silver medals and 3 bronze medals, ranking 5th out of 26 participating teams.
