Rower Pham Hong Quan contributed to winning 4 gold medals at the National Rowing Championship

At the 2024 National Canoeing Championship that just ended, rower Pham Hong Quan contributed to winning 4 gold medals in men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles.

This is the biggest tournament of the year. The four gold medals won by the Hai Duong team were Pham Hong Quan, men's 1,000m single sculls; Pham Hong Quan, Oceania, men's 1,000m doubles; Pham Hong Quan, Nguyen Thi Loi, men's and women's 1,000m doubles and Pham Hong Quan, men's 500m single sculls.

The 2024 National Canoeing Championship takes place from October 29 to November 3, organized by the Vietnam Canoeing Federation in coordination with Hai Phong City with the participation of 284 athletes from 26 units and localities across the country.

Athletes compete in 40 events. Hai Duong canoeing team has 2 coaches and 14 athletes participating.

The teams ranked above Hai Duong are Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Hai Phong and Vinh Phuc.

After the canoeing tournament, the 2024 national rowing championship will also take place in Hai Phong from November 5-10. This year, the tournament will feature 31 delegations with nearly 500 athletes from provinces and cities across the country, competing in 22 events for men and women.

Hai Duong team participated in the tournament with 2 coaches and 10 athletes, the target was 2 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals.
