On the evening of April 11, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance held a ceremony to honor typical cooperatives and award the Cooperative Star Award 2024 "CoopStar Awards 2024".
From more than 31,000 nominated cooperatives nationwide, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance selected 100 outstanding cooperatives from 57 provinces and cities to receive the 2024 Cooperative Star Award.
Hai Duong has 3 units winning this award including: Xuyen Viet Seafood Production and Trading Cooperative (Gia Loc), Mai Hong Industrial Cooperative (Kim Thanh), Phu Thu People's Credit Fund (Kinh Mon). These are all typical units of the province with many contributions to the construction and development of collective economy and cooperatives in recent times.
The ceremony to honor typical cooperatives and award the first Cooperative Star Award is an activity within the series of events of the Month of Action for Cooperatives and to celebrate the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Cooperative Day (April 11, 1946 - April 11, 2024) launched and organized by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
