The Women's Startup Competition is an annual activity within the framework of Project 939 "Supporting Women's Startups in the 2017-2025 period" organized by the Vietnam Women's Union, aiming to motivate and encourage women of all classes and ages to actively participate in starting businesses.

This year, the competition was launched on March 17 with the theme "Women starting businesses, promoting local resources". In this competition, there were 184 projects participating nationwide, including 3 projects from Hai Duong. The Organizing Committee selected 68 projects for the regional final round, including 1 project from Hai Duong. The national final round and award ceremony are scheduled to be held next September.

According to the Hai Duong Provincial Women's Union, from 2017 to now, the association has selected 42 outstanding ideas to participate at the Central level. There are 3 ideas that entered the national final round and won prizes from Bach Dang Agricultural Production and Trading Cooperative (Kinh Mon), VIETGAP VAC - Lien Mac Agricultural Production Cooperative (Thanh Ha) and Vina Straws Joint Stock Company in Kim Lien Commune (Kim Thanh) entered the national final round and won prizes.
