Hai Duong Newspaper's traditional cross-country race took place on December 24

The tournament will take place on December 24, in Hai Duong city, Hai Duong province.

Athletes participating in the tournament come from 12 districts, towns, cities and 2 branches of the Provincial Police and the Provincial Military Command.

Athletes compete in 12 events (6 teams, 6 individuals) including: male team, female team, male individual, female individual of 3 age groups. Specifically, the children's age group: male and female run 1.5 km, applicable to athletes aged 11 and under (born in 2012 and later). The teenage age group: male and female run 3 km, applicable to athletes aged 12-15 (born in 2011-2008). The youth age group: male run 5 km, female run 3 km, applicable to athletes aged 16 and over (born in 2007 and earlier).

Competition rules apply according to the Athletics Law issued by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training (now the Department of Sports and Physical Training).

This is an activity to celebrate National Defense Day, the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2023) and major national holidays.

Thereby, praising the mass sports training movement of localities and sectors in the whole province; continuing to promote the Campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" to contribute to improving health to serve the goal of "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland". Encouraging and promoting the running movement for health of the majority of people in the whole province, at the same time exchanging and learning experiences between athletes participating in the tournament...
