On May 29, the leader of the People's Committee of Doan Ket commune (Thanh Mien, Hai Duong) said that Mr. Vu Van Kha's family in Tu Xa village voluntarily dismantled the construction that violated the protection corridor of the Tay Ke Sat canal irrigation project.
Previously, on March 12, 2024, through an inspection of the Neo - My Dong Construction Management Station, it was discovered that Mr. Kha's family had arbitrarily built a 30-meter-long brick wall within the protection area of the irrigation project on the left bank of the Tay Ke Sat canal. To ensure the safety and capacity of the irrigation project, Doan Ket commune has propagated and mobilized Mr. Kha's family to strictly comply with the Law on Irrigation. By May 27, Mr. Kha's family had voluntarily dismantled the illegal construction and restored it to its original state.
Currently, in Doan Ket commune, there are 8 cases of violations of the protection corridor of irrigation works, including 7 cases of violations of the Cuu An river corridor and 1 case of violation of the canal corridor. Doan Ket commune is focusing on propaganda and mobilizing households to promptly dismantle the violating works. In cases of intentional violations, the locality will develop a plan for forced clearance.
