Putting a photo of a "debtor" into a photo frame for a memorial service and posting it on Facebook, Hoang Thi Xuyen in Kinh Mon went to jail.

According to the indictment, due to frustration with Ms. TTT in Quang Thanh commune (Kinh Mon) delaying payment for purchases at the family's electrical and water store, on the afternoon of December 7, 2022, Xuyen went to Zalo to download Ms. T's photo. Xuyen combined Ms. T's photo into an altar photo frame; combined Ms. T's photo and Ms. T's lover into an altar photo frame, combined the altar, fruit offerings, and incense bowl.

Then, Xuyen posted the edited images on Facebook social networking groups calling on Ms. T. to pay the debt.

Ms. T. felt her honor and dignity were offended, she was ashamed and humiliated in front of everyone, so at noon on December 8, 2022, she drank pesticide to commit suicide but was discovered and taken to the emergency room. Up to now, Ms. T.'s health is normal.

The jury sentenced Hoang Thi Xuyen to 3 years in prison for the crime of humiliating others under point b, clause 3, article 155 of the Penal Code.
