According to data just released by the General Statistics Office, in the first 6 months of 2024, Hai Duong's economic growth rate (GRDP) ranked 7th in the country and 3rd in the Red River Delta.
According to the General Statistics Office, Hai Duong's economic growth is estimated to increase by 10% in the first 6 months of 2024. Of which, the province's growth in the first quarter reached 10.11%, and in the second quarter it is estimated to reach 9.91%. With this result, Hai Duong province ranks 7th in the country after Tra Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Khanh Hoa, Bac Giang, Ha Nam provinces and Hai Phong city; and ranks 3rd in the Red River Delta, after Hai Phong city and Ha Nam province.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth rate in the province achieved positive results. Of which, the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector is estimated to increase by 3.52%; industry and construction is estimated to increase by 13.71%; services are estimated to increase by 6.93%; product taxes minus product subsidies increased by 4.9%.
