Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang encouraged engineers and workers constructing key traffic works.

Accompanying were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Luu Van Ban, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

The delegation visited and wished a Happy New Year to the team of engineers, workers and laborers implementing 3 projects in Thanh Ha and Binh Giang districts. These projects are: the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway intersection with provincial road 390; the renovation and upgrading of provincial road 390 from Hop Thanh bridge to Quang Thanh bridge (in Thanh Ha district); the Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway intersection with provincial road 392 (Binh Giang district).

At the construction sites, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang acknowledged and highly appreciated the construction units for proactively overcoming difficulties and speeding up the progress to implement the projects. These projects are of great significance, contributing to connecting traffic and promoting the socio-economic development of the province. Therefore, contractors need to arrange manpower, vehicles, machinery and implement appropriate construction plans during the upcoming Tet holiday.

Regarding the two traffic projects in Thanh Ha district, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested the provincial agencies and specialized units to closely coordinate with the locality and construction contractors to find solutions to overcome difficulties in construction material sources. The units need to come up with a master plan and assign specific and detailed implementation tasks.

Emphasizing that the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 390 from Hop Thanh bridge to Quang Thanh bridge plays an important role in serving the socio-economic development of the communes in Ha Dong (Thanh Ha) area, the Provincial Party Secretary requested that the project progress must be synchronous and connected with the intersection of Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway and provincial road 390. The project must be completed and put into operation before the lychee season in 2024.

On the same morning, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban visited and wished a Happy New Year to the construction unit of the project to renovate and upgrade provincial road 395, section from km16+750-km23+920 (Binh Giang district).

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban requested the contractor to arrange suitable staff and shifts to facilitate workers to celebrate Tet and ensure the progress of the project. The Department of Transport is assigned to be the focal point to inspect, supervise and urge the implementation of construction, and handle related problems. Binh Giang district has carried out the site clearance work well, not allowing the project to be affected by the delay in site handover.
