According to information from the Hai Duong Center for Employment Services and Vocational Education, although the 2024 Tet holiday is approaching, many businesses in the province are still recruiting workers. In addition to recruiting general workers, at this time, Hai Duong businesses are increasing their demand for recruiting engineers and managers to ensure filling the job gap because these workers often quit their jobs after Tet.
Hoa Phat Steel Joint Stock Company (Kinh Mon), Superior EMS Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Cam Giang), Unitedtex Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. (Nam Sach) have 70% of their current recruitment needs being engineers, office staff, and workers with university or college degrees. Many businesses said that due to a slight increase in the demand for orders at the beginning of the year, they need to recruit more skilled workers, especially engineers, to ensure efficient production from the beginning of the year.
According to the forecast of the Hai Duong Center for Employment Services and Vocational Education, the recruitment demand after the Lunar New Year will increase by about 10% compared to before Tet as businesses focus on production for orders in the first quarter and sign more orders in the second quarter.
