Training quality human resources for Hai Duong enterprises

On November 1, the Steering Committee of the Project "Developing human resources to meet production and business requirements, contributing to building Hai Duong into a modern industrial province by 2030" (referred to as the Human Resources Development Project) inspected the implementation of the project at Hai Duong Vocational College.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung affirmed that Hai Duong Vocational College is one of the units playing an important role in training, supplying and developing human resources for production and business activities of enterprises in the province and the whole country.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that in the coming time, the school should proactively coordinate with investors to effectively implement the Hai Duong Vocational College Development Project under the Government's socio-economic recovery and development program with a total budget of 70 billion VND; do a good job of enrollment and balance training targets to meet the needs of human resources in the coming time.

The school actively cooperates with affiliated enterprises to develop training programs to meet the human resource needs of domestic and foreign enterprises. During the training process, it is necessary to clearly understand the needs of students to proactively invest in equipment and machinery to serve teaching and learning well, helping students access modern machinery and not be surprised when working in enterprises.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to review the number of vocational teachers who need to improve their qualifications abroad to report to the province for specific incentive mechanisms. Based on the province's Human Resource Development Project, the school specifies solutions and goals for implementation, avoiding formalities and doing things for the sake of it.

Hai Duong Vocational College is training 8 college-level professions and 7 intermediate-level professions. The school regularly cooperates with more than 30 enterprises in and outside the province to carry out the task of vocational education and vocational skills education for students.

In the fields of mechatronics, industrial electricity, industrial electronics, fashion sewing, metal cutting, welding, information technology, operation, and refrigeration equipment repair, the employment rate of graduates is always over 80%. By the end of October, the school had recruited 542 students, including 422 intermediate students and 120 college students.
