Hai Duong Province National Assembly Delegation gives gifts to workers in difficulty

On the afternoon of April 19, comrades Nguyen Ngoc Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, and some members of the National Assembly Delegation of the province; leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation visited and presented 29 gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances at the following LLCs: Ya - AJM Vina (Nam Sach), Hien Le Commercial Services (Cam Giang) and 2 workers in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses at Tu Thong boarding house, Tu Minh ward (Hai Duong city). Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and a gift worth 200,000 VND.

At the gift-giving ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Ngoc Son, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment, highly appreciated the activities of the trade unions of the companies, which proactively coordinated closely with enterprises to overcome difficulties, organize production and business, and ensure income for workers.

He emphasized that in the upcoming Workers' Month, trade unions and business owners need to continue to promote activities to care for union members and workers; clearly demonstrating the important role of trade unions in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members.

Members of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province hope that workers and business owners will contribute many ideas on building the trade union movement, trade union organizations and issues directly related to workers to prepare for the dialogue between the National Assembly Delegation of the province and the leaders of the Provincial People's Council with union members, workers and laborers, scheduled to be held on April 24.
