In the period of 2021-2023, the amount of money collected from the auction of exhibits and means of administrative violations in Hai Duong is nearly 17.4 billion VND.
On the morning of October 29, the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council conducted a thematic supervision on the management and handling of assets that are evidence and means of administrative violations confiscated in the province. Binh Giang District Police was the first unit to be supervised.
According to a report by the Hai Duong Provincial Police, in the period of 2021-2023, the whole province had 16,807 administrative violations with measures applied to prevent and ensure the enforcement of penalty decisions; temporarily detained 112,735 exhibits and means of administrative violations.
Currently, the detention period for these exhibits and vehicles has expired. Of these, there are 13,075 cases with 21,599 exhibits and vehicles that are not subject to confiscation; 3,767 cases with 91,328 exhibits and vehicles subject to confiscation. There have been decisions to confiscate 2,883 cases. The remaining 884 cases without decisions to confiscate are being verified and processed.
According to Hai Duong Provincial Police, for administrative violations in the field of traffic, many owners leave their vehicles behind, do not come to resolve them, do not comply with the penalty decision because the value of the vehicle is low but the fine is high (mainly for violations of alcohol concentration, increasing dramatically in 2023) or the vehicle is modified, modified, and does not have legal documents.
In the period of 2021 - 2023, the amount of confiscated money paid to the state budget is nearly 17 billion VND; the amount of money collected from the auction of confiscated exhibits and means of administrative violations paid to the state budget is nearly 17.4 billion VND.
