Leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment informed about some contents and documents expected to be submitted to the 18th session of the Provincial People's Council.

Regarding the provincial planning dossier for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, the Economic-Budget Committee requested the Department of Planning and Investment to develop a list of dossiers and complete adjustments according to the opinions of the Provincial Planning Appraisal Council. At the same time, assess the impact of the arrangement of commune-level administrative units on the development of the provincial planning. The Department of Planning and Investment needs to fully solicit the participation of central and provincial agencies and units to ensure consensus and unity. The planning needs to balance the tasks and development goals to exploit and promote the province's unique advantages.

Regarding the content of approving and adjusting investment policies for a number of projects and works, the Economic-Budget Committee requested the Department of Planning and Investment to coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee Office to complete the submission of the Provincial People's Committee. In which, it is necessary to evaluate appropriate investment objectives, especially for projects implementing regulations on fire prevention and fighting.

Regarding the plan to allocate and adjust public investment capital for the 2021-2025 period and 2023, the Economic and Budget Committee recommends that capital sources be balanced reasonably and investments should be focused and key. Capital increase adjustments must be based on revenue sources.
