Dak Lak busts lottery line worth 500 million per day

On April 29, information from Buon Ma Thuot City Police said that the unit had just dismantled a large-scale lottery gambling ring with daily transactions of nearly 500 million VND.

Initial information, on April 27, after a period of reconnaissance and understanding the situation, Buon Ma Thuot City Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers to simultaneously inspect and catch 10 locations red-handed recording lottery numbers.

Searching the locations, the police seized 20 mobile phones, nearly 100 million VND and many documents and exhibits related to lottery recording activities.

Buon Ma Thuot City Police quickly brought 18 related subjects to headquarters to investigate and clarify the case.

This lottery line has been operating since the beginning of March. Every day, the subjects receive lottery numbers for gamblers with an amount of up to nearly 500 million VND.

This is a very sophisticated lottery line. The subjects do not receive lottery exposure directly but use the Telegram application to transfer and receive lottery exposure.

At the end of the day, based on the lottery results of the Central and Northern regions, the winnings and losses will be calculated with the gamblers. All messages will be deleted.

Buon Ma Thuot City Police have detained 8 subjects for investigation into the acts of "gambling" and "organizing gambling".
