Mr. Vu Tien Loc, born on January 1, 1960, hometown in Thuy Phong commune, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province.
He has a post-graduate degree; Senior in political theory; studied at the National Economics University, Bachelor of Economics (Foreign Trade University, Hanoi), PhD in Foreign Economics.
He was Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), Vice Chairman of the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform, Member of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Central Council of Vietnam Business Associations, and Chairman of the ASEAN Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Mr. Vu Tien Loc is currently Chairman of the Vietnam International Arbitration Center (VIAC); National Assembly Delegate from the 11th to the 15th terms; Member of the Economic Committee from the 12th term to present.
