Five provinces and cities have supported Hai Duong people to overcome damage caused by storm No. 3.

On the afternoon of September 17, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee issued Notice No. 1 on the results of support for the people of Hai Duong province to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi). In the list of supporters and registered supporters, there are 5 provinces and cities.

Specifically, from September 13 to 16, 28 agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals supported and registered to support the people of Hai Duong province with a total amount of over 28.8 billion VND, of which more than 24 billion VND was transferred to the province's Relief Fund account.

Of the total amount of money that agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals have donated and registered to donate, there is 20 billion VND allocated from the Central Relief Fund; 5 billion VND from 5 provinces and cities, including: Ba Ria - Vung Tau (2 billion VND), Quang Nam, Da Nang (each unit 1 billion VND), Long An, Phu Yen (each province 500 million VND).

Some businesses that have donated a lot include: A&T Trading Joint Stock Company (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi), An Phat Holdings Group (each unit donated 1 billion VND); Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development (700 million VND), Hoang Tien Joint Stock Company (300 million VND)...

Storm No. 3 caused heavy damage to the people of Hai Duong province. On September 13, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province launched a campaign to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. At the launch, agencies, organizations, and individuals donated more than 207 million VND.

On the same day, the Chairman of the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also sent a letter calling on all classes of people to promote the spirit of mutual love and support to help people overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
