Thanh Ha voters propose to renovate the district road to Bau ferry

On the morning of June 19, the delegation of the 17th Provincial People's Council met with voters of Thanh Hong, Thanh Cuong, Thanh Quang and Vinh Lap communes (Thanh Ha).

At the meeting, there were 9 opinions from voters, mainly related to the environment and traffic. Many voters reflected that the district had announced the renovation of the district road from He market (Thanh Quang commune) to Bau ferry (Thanh Hong commune), many units came to survey and measure but so far there has been no implementation.

Responding to voters' opinions on this issue, Comrade Tang Ba Bay, Chairman of Thanh Ha District People's Committee, said that the district road from He market to Bau ferry is 3.5km long, with a 3.5m wide asphalt road surface. On January 6, 2023, the District People's Committee sent an official dispatch requesting the repair of the district road in the 2023-2026 period to the Department of Transport of Hai Duong province to arrange funds to repair and maintain the cracked and potholed section (about 650m) on this road, expected to be implemented in the fourth quarter of 2024.

In April 2024, Thanh Ha District People's Committee assigned the Economic and Infrastructure Department to survey and make an investment estimate to upgrade about 2.2 km of the route from Provincial Road 390 to the resettlement area of ​​Nhan Bau village, with a 7 m wide road surface and a drainage system through the residential area.

The District Economic and Infrastructure Department is seeking opinions from relevant agencies, units, and People's Committees of communes to appraise the project investment proposal.
