Cong Phuong and Hoang Duc have the chance to face Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels

The Vietnam Football Federation, Borussia Dortmund and Next Media have reached an agreement to host a friendly match between the Vietnamese national team and the famous Bundesliga team. The event will take place on November 30 at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi).

The match against Vietnam is part of Dortmund's Southeast Asia tour in November and December, when the Bundesliga and European leagues are on hiatus due to the 2022 World Cup. Dortmund's World Cup players will not be able to travel on this tour. However, the remaining squad of the German team still has many top stars.

Cong Phuong and Hoang Duc have the opportunity to face many Bundesliga stars, most notably central defender Mats Hummels. He has been one of the quality players of the German national team in recent years. At the age of 33, Hummels said goodbye to the German national team and devoted himself to Borussia Dortmund.
