On April 27, Thanh Ha District Police (Hai Duong) patrolled, detected, and recorded 12 drivers violating traffic laws, detained 4 vehicles, and collected a fine of 68.6 million VND.
One driver was detained for speeding and having a blood alcohol level at the maximum limit, and was fined VND40 million. Common violations include not wearing a helmet, speeding, and carrying more passengers than allowed.
Right from the beginning of the April 30 - May 1 holiday, Thanh Ha District Police have developed a plan to increase 100% of the traffic police force on duty with the police of communes and towns to patrol, control and handle violations.
The district police have publicized on the district and commune radio stations, many Zalo and Facebook groups the time, location, and routes where patrols and violations will be handled. Patrols are conducted 24/7, focusing on 9-11am, 1-4pm, and 7-10pm.
