Mentally ill son kills biological father with knife

On May 26, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Province Police said that it had coordinated with professional units to conduct a crime scene examination and investigate a murder case that resulted in one death, which occurred in Hai Ninh Commune, Bac Binh District.

Suspect Vong Khang Venh was controlled and arrested

The victim was Mr. VKV (58 years old), who was attacked with a knife by his biological son, Vong Khang Venh (27 years old), leading to his death.

Initial information, at around 10:30 am the same day, Venh and his father had a loud argument at their home in Hai Lac village, Hai Ninh commune, Bac Binh district.

There, Venh used a knife to chase and attack the father's body and neck, causing Mr. V. to collapse on the spot. Witnessing the incident, some people living next door used wooden sticks to rush to rescue Mr. V., but Venh still did not stop.

As a result, Mr. V. died on the spot with many wounds on his body and neck.

After the incident, local people and police coordinated to control and arrest Venh at home.

It is known that suspect Venh has a history of mental illness.
