Chi Linh tightens management of theaters encroaching on the road

From January 3-10, forces in Chi Linh City simultaneously mobilized to restore order and safety in traffic corridors throughout the city.

The City Traffic Safety Committee coordinates with localities to focus on propaganda and combine with clearing locations for construction material businesses, scrap businesses, encroaching on roads and sidewalks, tents, canopies, awnings, illegal construction, and recovery of advertising signs that are hung and placed in violation of regulations.

Localities must strictly implement the commitment to sign with households not to set up tents for weddings, funerals, opening ceremonies, meetings... encroaching on roads and sidewalks, causing traffic obstruction, especially on national highways, provincial roads, city-managed roads and main roads of wards with high traffic density. The head of any locality that causes traffic accidents due to setting up tents for weddings, funerals, opening ceremonies, meetings must be responsible to the Chairman of the City People's Committee.

In 2024, the Traffic Safety Committee of Chi Linh City warned 170 cases of violations, seized 83 illegal billboards, dismantled 43 canopies and awnings, made records to handle 45 cases, administratively sanctioned 20 cases, cleared a number of temporary markets and markets encroaching on the sidewalks in Tan Dan, Hoang Tan wards, Hung Dao commune, etc.
