The Ministry of National Defense has issued Circular 22 regulating the adjustment of monthly allowances for soldiers and people working in secretarial work who receive salaries similar to those of soldiers who have been demobilized, discharged, or quit their jobs.
The Circular clearly states that the monthly allowance for December 2021 will be increased by 7.4% for demobilized and discharged soldiers who are receiving monthly allowances; soldiers and people working in secret service who receive salaries similar to those of demobilized, discharged, or retired soldiers who are receiving monthly allowances.

The monthly allowance level of the subjects after being adjusted to increase, specifically:
From 15 years to under 16 years, the subsidy is 2,031,000 VND/month.
From 16 years to under 17 years, the subsidy is 2,123,000 VND/month.
From 17 years to under 18 years, the subsidy is 2,217,000 VND/month.
From 18 years to under 19 years, the subsidy is 2,309,000 VND/month.
From 19 years to under 20 years, the subsidy is 2,400,000 VND/month.
This Circular takes effect from May 16.
