The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has initiated criminal proceedings against the Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Health, AIC Company and related units.
Information from the Ministry of Public Security on September 22, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency (Department of Investigation Police for Crimes of Corruption, Economy, and Smuggling) has initiated a criminal case of "Violation of Bidding Regulations Causing Serious Consequences" occurring at the Medical Construction Project Management Board under the Department of Health of Bac Ninh Province, International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC Company) and related units.
At the same time, Decisions to prosecute the accused, Arrest warrants for temporary detention, and Search warrants were issued for: Tran Van Tuynh, former Director of the Medical Construction Project Management Board; Nguyen Dang An, former Head of the General Planning Department, Medical Construction Project Management Board; Nguyen Kim Huan, former Deputy Head of the General Planning Department, Medical Construction Project Management Board under the Department of Health of Bac Ninh province; Nguyen Viet Toan, former employee of AIC Company; Nguyen Dang Linh, former employee of AIC Company; Dang Xuan Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of BTCVALUE Valuation Joint Stock Company; Nguyen Hong Son, Deputy General Director of AIC Company.
The above defendants were prosecuted for the crime of "Violating bidding regulations causing serious consequences" under Clause 3, Article 222 of the Penal Code.
Information from the Ministry of Public Security also said that on September 21, 2023, after the Supreme People's Procuracy (Department 3) approved the above Decisions and Orders, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency organized the implementation in accordance with legal regulations.
Currently, the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency is continuing to expand the investigation of the case, applying measures according to law to thoroughly recover assets for the State.
